Empowering the new generation to make the world a better place
able is part of project-based educational experience created by The Little Urban Farm in partnership with the Wisdom College in Ko Pha Ngan, Thailand in 2021.
Students are learning through projects everything they need to know about Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Physics, but they are also learning Attitudes and Skills to thrive in life.
For example, how to observe, communicate, collaborate and develop a problem solving mindset?
Students are also learning about psychologic, how to mange finances, and one of the most important skills we can develop: critical thinking
Our Story
Our logo was created to inspire more business in the world to value diversity, equity and inclusion. This is the reason why our logo have different letters with different fonts.
We believe that everyone is able to make the world a better place.
Our project was created during a PBL (Project-based learning) program at Wisdom College .
Our students are creating products while understanding about the world around us.
One great example is the Natural & Handmade Soap PBL.
Students learn about chemistry, about different oils, fats and how and why the soap clean out skin. They also learn about the palm oil industry and how it affects the habits of birds and what are the consequences of the deforestation in tropical planets.
We focus on creating Attitudes and Skills.
We believe that as educators, we need to inspire the new generation to be curious, and the feel empowered to make the right questions, that is how we support them to develop critical thinking.
We also empower team working, to make the world a better place, we need to work together.
Skills as Observation, Collaboration, Communication and a Problem-solving mindset are extremely important for the new generation to thrive in world that is collapsing due the climate crisis, the effects of the pandemic and addiction to the digital world.
