Able Krabi Camp – January 4–8, 2027 – Krabi (Ages 5–14)

The Able Krabi Camp is a five-day coastal expedition through limestone cliffs, turquoise water, mangroves, caves, and beach. From January 4–8, 2027, children will climb, kayak, explore the living coastline, and grow through challenge, play, and reflection.

Created by Gui Brotto, founder of Able, and inspired by the National Geographic Learning Framework, this camp nurtures young explorers through experiences that blend adventure, science, and connection to the sea. Guided by Able’s three education pillars, the program offers a balanced mix of personal growth, practical skills, and nature immersion:
 
Our Education Pillars

Mindful Social-Emotional Learning Building self-awareness, empathy, and resilience through activities that use climbing, water, darkness, and teamwork as opportunities for growth.

Regenerative Project-Based Learning Engaging in purposeful, hands-on exploration — reading limestone, moving across a lagoon, studying mangrove roots, following crab trails, and learning how a coastline lives.

Holistic Nature-Based Education Learning directly from the Andaman world through cliffs, water, mangrove forest, cave, and beach, and understanding the rhythms and interconnections of coastal ecosystems.

Camp Highlights

🧗 Climb the Limestone Rock climbing at Railay West and Princess Cave. Children learn rope, attention, trust, and the courage to take the next hold.
Kayak the Turquoise Lagoon Explore the coastline from the water. Balance, tide, teamwork, and seeing Krabi from a kayak.

🌿 Enter the Mangrove Walk a living edge between land and sea. Roots in salt water, nurseries for fish, and a National Geographic class on mangroves and regeneration.

Enter the Cave Explore the cave and practice moving beyond fear. Darkness becomes wonder when the group stays close.

Play on the Beach Secret beach games and Capture the Colorful Sand — joy that builds the group before the day turns inward again.

👧👦 Age Group 5 to 14 years old Children are grouped during camp as 5–9 and 10–14, so the challenge matches the child. Same price for all ages.

Meals: Healthy, ethical, and locally produced meals (lunch + snacks) provided
