Able Five Senses Nature Summer Camp: Awaken to the World
To truly understand the world, we must learn how to feel it. From July 12–16, 2027, Able’s Five Senses Nature Summer Camp in Chiang Mai invites children ages 10 to 14 to step away from screens and fully immerse themselves in their surroundings. This week-long sensory expedition challenges young minds to observe closely, listen deeply, and connect with their environment and each other through hands-on creation and thrilling outdoor exploration.
At our camp, explorers will:
🧠 Design & Engineer (Project-Based Learning) From building cardboard hydraulic engineering projects to mastering the traditional art of paper and umbrella making, campers solve dynamic problems through hands-on creation.
🌲 Explore Movement & Adventure Engage in exciting outdoor expeditions, including an immersive jungle hike, an exhilarating zipline experience through the forest canopy, and refreshing waterfall games.
👀 Awaken the Senses Participate in unique sensory experiences like the "Whisper Challenge," exploring nature's varied textures (Softness vs. Pressure), and a National Geographic-certified class exploring "Weird But True: The Senses".
🍕 Taste & Connect Campers will make their own pizzas while discovering the "Taste of Colors" and craft a vibrant "Fruits and Emotions Salad" to practice mindful eating and connection.
🌬 Build Emotional Awareness Through daily Opening and Closing Circles (Sharing the Day Feelings & Emotions), campers practice mindfulness and develop the vocabulary to share their internal experiences in a supportive space.
