Why Able Camps Are Different?
Because Childhood Deserves More Than Entertainment
At Able, we believe children are capable of extraordinary things when given the freedom, encouragement, and opportunities to discover their potential.
Our approach brings together three complementary educational foundations:
Mindful Social-Emotional Learning (MSEL)
Helping children recognize emotions, develop empathy, strengthen relationships, and practice self-awareness through meaningful daily experiences.
Regenerative Project-Based Learning (RPBL)
Inviting children to investigate real-world questions, collaborate on meaningful projects, and explore how their actions can contribute positively to communities and ecosystems.
Holistic Nature-Based Education (HNBE)
Connecting movement, creativity, ecological understanding, sensory exploration, and personal development through direct experiences with nature.
Together, these foundations shape what we call Regenerative Experiences: journeys designed to enrich children's lives while nurturing care for the world around them.
Thailand Becomes Our Living Classroom
From Permaculture Gardens to Coral Reefs
Thailand offers remarkable opportunities to connect learning with adventure, biodiversity, and cultural discovery.
Across our locations and partner-led experiences, Able explores opportunities such as:
Permaculture & Organic Farming
Discover soil ecosystems, composting, biodiversity, regenerative agriculture, and how food systems connect people with the planet.
Snorkeling & Marine Conservation
Explore coastal biodiversity, marine ecosystems, coral reefs, and responsible ways to interact with the ocean.
Rock Climbing & Outdoor Adventure
Experience the excitement of climbing, problem-solving, focus, and personal challenge. Guided rock-climbing experiences are location-specific, particularly in Krabi, and subject to suitable age, conditions, and professional supervision.
Elephant Conservation & Wildlife Encounters
Explore animal welfare, habitat protection, and respectful relationships with wildlife through carefully selected, welfare-conscious experiences.
Thai Cooking & Cultural Discovery
Discover Thai culinary traditions, local ingredients, food systems, and the stories connecting food, culture, and community.
Forest Exploration & Nature Discovery
Investigate ecosystems, follow natural patterns, develop observation skills, and encounter the remarkable biodiversity of Thailand.
Activities vary by camp, location, age group, season, and confirmed partner arrangements.
The adventure opens the door. Curiosity takes children further.
More Than a Camp. A Journey of Becoming.
What Children Take Home Matters More Than What They Bring.
A child who was hesitant to try something new discovers courage.
A group of children from different countries discovers the joy of working together.
A young explorer notices that a tiny insect plays an important role in an entire ecosystem.
A moment of frustration becomes an opportunity to practice patience and emotional awareness.
These are the moments we intentionally create space for at Able.
Our goal is to nurture qualities that extend beyond the camp itself:
-
Curiosity and critical thinking
-
Creativity and problem-solving
-
Emotional awareness and empathy
-
Collaboration and communication
-
Environmental literacy and systems thinking
-
Confidence, adaptability, and personal responsibility
-
A sense of belonging to a larger living world
We see these qualities as lifelong capacities worth cultivating.
Designed for an International Generation
Global Friendships. Local Discoveries. Shared Humanity.
Able Camps welcome families from diverse countries and cultures.
Our English-speaking experiences create opportunities for children to communicate, collaborate, and build friendships across cultural backgrounds.
We believe global citizenship begins with genuine human connection: learning to listen, understanding different perspectives, and discovering what we share.
Thailand becomes more than a destination.
It becomes a place to experience culture, nature, community, and a wider world.
School Field Trips, Educational Study Tours & Group Experiences
Bring Learning Into the Living World.
Beyond seasonal holiday camps, Able's regenerative approach can also support customized school field trips, educational study tours, outdoor learning experiences, and group programs in Thailand.
Designed in collaboration with participating schools and organizations, these experiences can explore themes such as:
-
Environmental education and biodiversity
-
Permaculture and regenerative agriculture
-
Sustainability and the UN Sustainable Development Goals
-
Leadership, collaboration, and social-emotional learning
-
Cultural immersion and community engagement
-
Ecological literacy and systems thinking
Our goal is to help schools connect academic inquiry with authentic experiences, encouraging students to explore meaningful questions through direct engagement with the world.

Inspired by a Global Perspective on Learning
Exploration. Curiosity. Responsibility.
Able's educational approach draws inspiration from the National Geographic Learning Framework, experiential education, project-based learning, and regenerative principles.
Our founder, Gui Brotto, is a National Geographic Certified Educator with a background in mathematics, creative communication, and permaculture.
This interdisciplinary perspective helps shape experiences that connect scientific curiosity, creative expression, emotional awareness, and environmental responsibility.
We believe education should help children understand the world while developing the capacity to contribute meaningfully to it.
Learn. Explore. Connect. Regenerate.
